The singer Fernanda Takai announced on Tuesday (29) that her new album, done in partnership with ex-Police Andy Summers, will hit stores in July.
The album, called "Fundamental" features 11 previously unreleased tracks, all with Fernanda and Summers on vocals and guitar or guitar. The songs were composed by guitarist and gained some lyrics in Portuguese.
"Fundamental," the song that gives name to the album, was written by Fernanda Ulhoa and John, her husband and partner in Pato Fu. The disc also has contributions from Zelia Duncan, who signs "Para Não Esquecer (I Remember), and "Ocean Rain (Teardrops In The Sea)" and "Lucky in Love (Music in Darkness)", along with Fernanda.
The album will be released in Brazil, Japan, the United States and some European countries.
