Tom Jobim receive posthumous Grammy for his career

Washington .- World famous for the song "Garota de Ipanema", Antonio Carlos Jobim receive a posthumous Grammy for his outstanding career, said on Thursday the organization of the award. 
Besides the Brazilian maestro, will be honored George Jones, country music star, singer Diana Ross, and the group Allman Brothers Band. 
"The honorees this year offer a range of brightness, contributions and left a lasting impression on our culture," the statement said Neil Portnow, president of the Academy of Music. 
In addition to the artists, another master, but the technology, Steve Jobs, will receive a posthumous Grammy for his contribution to the music industry. 
The founder of Apple, who died in October after a long fight against pancreatic cancer, will be awarded for developing products and technology that "transformed" the way we consume music, movies and books, has detailed in a statement. 
The ceremony of the 54th Grammy Awards will take place on February 12, 2012 in Los Angeles.
